OQ Exploration and Production SAOG (OQEP) is OQ's upstream oil and gas company, incorporated on 20 May 2009 and listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange on 28 October 2024, according to Note 1 of its 2025 financial statements. The same note says OQ SAOC owns 75% of its shares and the remaining 25% are publicly held, with OQ wholly owned by the Oman Investment Authority. Its 2025 annual report describes a portfolio of 14 upstream assets, 13 onshore and one offshore. Audited 2025 revenue was RO 1,159.0 million (2024, restated: RO 1,242.8 million) and profit attributable to equity holders RO 278.0 million (2024: RO 321.3 million). Ashraf Al Mamari is chairman and Mahmoud Al Hashmi is Chief Executive Officer.
