Petrochemical Industries Company says on its website that it was established in 1963, is a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and has authorised capital of KD 600 million. It lists a 42.5% stake in EQUATE's original venture and in The Kuwait Olefins Company, and reports annual petrochemical production of 9 million tonnes. It does not publish audited financial statements that INXEN has found.
