Kuwait Petroleum International says on its website that it was established on 3 February 1983 and markets under the Q8 brand, with more than 3,500 retail service stations and 3,600 employees worldwide. The page also lists the Nghi Son refinery in Vietnam (200 thousand barrels per day of Kuwait export crude) and the OQ8 refinery in Oman (265 thousand barrels per day). It is a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and does not publish audited financial statements that INXEN has found.
