Red Sea Global is the developer behind The Red Sea, AMAALA and Thuwal Private Retreat, listed among the Public Investment Fund's giga-projects. The PIF page says it launched in 2018 and gives these figures for its portfolio: an area of 28,000 square kilometres, more than 90 islands, more than 40 hotels, more than 12,000 hotel rooms and more than 2,000 luxury residences. The page states no ownership percentage and names no leaders. A Gulf Business profile published on 6 July 2026 lists John Pagano as Group CEO.
