Bahrain Metro Phase One

Phase one of the Bahrain Metro comprises two lines totalling about 29 km with 20 stations, linking Bahrain International Airport to Seef and Juffair to Isa Town, as the first stage of a planned 109 km driverless network. It is being procured as a roughly 35-year design, build, finance, operate, maintain and transfer partnership; the ministry has qualified seven consortiums and no award has been announced.
