Hafeet Rail (Oman–UAE railway)

Hafeet Rail is building a 238 km freight and passenger railway linking Sohar port in Oman to the UAE national rail network at Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, with freight trains at up to 120 km/h and passenger trains at up to 200 km/h. The joint venture reported 40% completion in April 2026, and Oman ratified the railway agreement with the UAE by Royal Decree 75/2026 in September 2026.
