Jafurah Unconventional Gas Field

Jafurah is Saudi Aramco's unconventional (shale) gas field, holding an estimated 229 trillion standard cubic feet of raw gas and 75 billion stock tank barrels of condensate, and began producing in December 2025. Aramco targets 2 billion standard cubic feet per day of sales gas, 420 million standard cubic feet per day of ethane and about 630,000 barrels per day of liquids by 2030, while later expansion phases remain under construction.
