Multi-energy project in Basra combining associated-gas recovery and processing at Ratawi (up to 600 million cubic feet per day in two phases), full development of the Ratawi field to 210,000 b/d, a Common Seawater Supply Project treating 5 million barrels of water per day for oilfield injection, and a 1 GWac (1.25 GWp) solar plant. As of September 2026 the first 250 MW solar unit is supplying the grid, while Ratawi Phase 1 start-up has been delayed by customs clearance of equipment.
